Barcelona’s creative spirit is legendary, but the pandemic left the city feeling fractured. As we opened the LEGO® Flagship Store, we wanted to reignite imagination and drew inspiration from Gaudí’s trencadís technique.

My team worked to create a truly unique experience by building a giant LEGO mosaic and dropping it from the sky. We then invited the community to rebuild it together—proving that even when things break, creativity brings us back stronger. Because you can shatter a mosaic, but you can’t break Barcelona’s spirit.
